Separate the Mexico operating case before pricing
A useful Mexico proposal starts by separating vehicle distribution, construction-equipment transport, container movements and cross-border freight. Each operation needs its own cargo or vehicle matrix, loading cycle, tractor interface and route assumptions; combining them in one generic trailer request makes technical and price comparisons unreliable.
Car carriers for vehicle logistics
For a car-carrier project, send the passenger-car, SUV or light-commercial-vehicle mix, the required loading sequence, route-clearance limits, loading-site conditions and daily operating cycle. Capacity and deck geometry remain open until the loading matrix and route envelope are approved; they are not inferred from a catalogue photograph.
Lowbeds, chassis and route data
Machinery transport requires actual machine dimensions, operating weight, loading method and ground-clearance constraints. Container-chassis work requires the container mix, locking concept, gross-weight assumptions, yard-versus-highway cycle and tractor data. The intended import point and final operating city should be identified before shipping and inland use are treated as one scope.
Complete trailers, OEM or local assembly
Mexico buyers can evaluate factory-completed trailers, private-label OEM, CKD, SKD or component supply. Branding, paint, plates, document language, packing, local work and final inspection responsibility are defined in the approved technical and commercial file rather than assumed from the supply format.
Confirmed manufacturing framework
Production is based in Jinan, China. Projects can be configured from 12 to 24 metres in length with custom height to the approved specification. MOQ starts from 3 units, and typical production time is approximately 3 weeks after technical and commercial approval.
Components, supply format and control
Axles, suspension, brakes and other components can use Ultima/OEM Chinese solutions or established brands. Every model can be evaluated as a complete trailer, private-label OEM, CKD, SKD or component supply. Agreed inspection points, production photos and final pre-shipment inspection are documented.
Warranty, certificates and logistics
Factory-completed units carry a 12-month warranty on main assemblies. Locally assembled projects do not carry a blanket factory warranty on the finished unit; component and assembly responsibilities are defined in the contract. Certificate documents are available for review and confirmed per destination. Freight and vessel arrangements can be coordinated with logistics partners.
Dealer and fleet qualification
A dealer or repeat fleet buyer should state the customer segments, territory, priority trailer families, first-order quantity, service and spare-parts capability, and expected repeat-purchase plan. Regional representation and any territory discussion follow review of volume, support capability and the sales plan; they are not automatic.
Information for a Mexico RFQ
Send company, destination city, intended import route, trailer family, quantity, vehicle or cargo matrix, tractor details, operating corridors, preferred components, branding scope and purchase timing. Local dimensional, registration and approval criteria remain buyer-confirmed inputs until written evidence is reviewed.
